Belina Maia Rosario

Belina Maia do Rosario is a full-time lecturer at the National University of Timor Lorosa’e (UNTL), deeply committed to transforming and advancing English language education across Timor-Leste. She holds a Master’s degree in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL) from Flinders University in South Australia, where she built a strong foundation in modern language teaching methodologies, applied linguistics, and practical classroom pedagogy.

With a strong dedication to academic excellence, Belina focuses her work on elevating the quality of English instruction within higher education and beyond. A central aspect of her professional focus is the design and implementation of innovative, culturally relevant learning materials specifically tailored to the educational context and linguistic background of Timorese students.
